Fish and Waterlilies by Eliza Leahy The leaves don't have much detail - I quickly get them out of the way! The fish take more time, getting the patterns right, and the bits of shading - they are underwater after all. I want the outside of the picture to be very dark, coming in light to the middle, so I use my darkest brown. Then I bring in some blue and work out some of the shading in the middle of the water.
